At Fallout, Campus Life’s annual fall retreat, Cammy T. made a life-changing decision.
“I made the decision to recommit my life to Christ,” she says. “It was such an amazing and memorable moment for me.”
That weekend was more than just a retreat—it was a turning point. But Cammy’s journey didn’t start there. It began over two years ago, when she first heard about Campus Life.
“My mom actually found out about Campus Life through a post on Facebook,” she recalls. “She thought I should start attending.”
At the time, Cammy was already involved in youth activities, but she wanted to grow deeper in her faith and connect with more people her age.
“Since then, I’ve stayed active in the group because it’s a fun and stress-free way to help grow my relationship with God,” she says.
What kept her coming back was more than just the activities—it was the people.
“The group of people at CL are people I can trust and who share the same values as me,” Cammy says. “I have also been able to make amazing Godly friendships with the girls in the group and my leaders.”
One of those leaders has made a lasting impact.
“My leader, Kenzie, has really helped me through my faith journey,” Cammy shares. “I have realized she will always be there to help and support me through my journey and that I am not alone in this.”
When Cammy arrived at Fallout this past November, she expected a fun weekend with friends. But she didn’t realize just how much God would move in her heart.
“I am glad I had the friends and leaders to be there for my big decision,” she says.
Now a freshman at South Fayette High School, Cammy continues to grow in her faith. She still looks forward to every Campus Life gathering, knowing it’s a place where she’s supported, encouraged, and reminded of God’s love.
“Being able to find these kinds of friends is hard, but CL has made that possible,” she says. “I am so glad I have these people in my life who always bring smiles and positivity to my life.”
And as she looks ahead, she knows one thing for sure—she’s not walking this journey alone.
