Join Youth For Christ Metro Pittsburgh for an evening of Good News from the lives of young people across our region.
The Good News Banquet is an opportunity to celebrate how the Gospel is reaching young people in our communities and invite others to help make that faithful presence possible.
As a table host, you will give $300 to help underwrite your table and invite guests to join you. Your guests attend at no cost through the support of table hosts and our exclusive business sponsors, Networth Advisors and Hartman & Hartman Construction.
Your Role as a Table Host

Give $300 when you register. Your support helps cover a table for you and your guests.
Invite your guests
Invite enough people to complete a table of ten, including you and your spouse, partner, or co-host. The hotel can increase your table to eleven when needed.
Your table can include both returning guests and people experiencing YFCMP for the first time. We encourage you to think intentionally about that mix as you make your guest list.
Prepare your guests
Let guests know they will enjoy dinner, hear stories from YFCMP, and receive an opportunity to financially partner with the ministry.
You are not expected to ask your guests for financial support. All giving remains private between each guest and YFCMP, and there is no obligation to give.

Invite Your Guests
A personal invitation from you is one of the best ways to introduce someone to Youth For Christ Metro Pittsburgh. Think about friends, family members, coworkers, neighbors, church connections, or others you would enjoy having around your table.
Your guest list can include people who have attended a YFCMP banquet before and people who are completely new to YFCMP. Both are welcome.
You don’t need to have the perfect pitch. Tell them why you’re attending, why you thought of them, and that you’d enjoy having them join you.

What Should I Tell My Guests?
The Good News Banquet is an opportunity to enjoy dinner together and hear stories of what God is doing in the lives of young people through Youth For Christ Metro Pittsburgh.
During the evening, guests will also have an opportunity to financially partner with YFCMP. There is no obligation to give, and you are not responsible for asking your guests for financial support.

Once someone says yes, make sure they’re registered so we can prepare a place for them.
Guests may register themselves and select your name as their table host, or you may complete the registration for them.
Your table seats ten people, including you and your spouse, partner, or co-host. If you have more people who would like to attend, don’t stop inviting! We can accommodate eleven at a table when needed, and we’ll work with you if your guest list grows beyond that.

Frequently asked questions
Do all of my guests need to be new to YFCMP?
No. We hope our tables will include a mix of returning guests and people experiencing YFCMP for the first time.
Returning guests have another opportunity to connect more deeply with the ministry, while first-time guests get to discover YFCMP through someone they already know. Think about the people in your own circles and make a personal goal for the mix you’d like to have around your table.
Is there a financial obligation for my guests?
No. The banquet will include an invitation to financially partner with YFCMP, but there is no obligation to give.
As a table host, you are not responsible for asking your guests for financial support. Giving is private between each guest and YFCMP.
What if I can't fill my table?
Keep inviting! It’s common for people to decline or have scheduling conflicts, so you may need to invite more than ten people to fill your table.
If you’re having difficulty, contact us. We’re happy to help.
What if more than ten people say yes?
That’s a good problem to have! The hotel can accommodate eleven people at a table when needed. If your guest list grows beyond that, contact us and we’ll work with you on the best seating arrangement.
Can someone attend at the last minute?
Please register guests as early as possible so we can provide an accurate count to the hotel. If someone would like to attend at the last minute, contact us and we’ll do our best to accommodate them. Meal choices or dietary accommodations may be limited close to the event.
Can I register someone on their behalf?
Yes. You may complete the guest registration for them.
How will I know who has registered at my table?
You will receive an email confirmation when a guest registers for your table.
What if a guest needs to change their registration?
Contact YFCMP at info@yfcmp.org or (412) 854-1110 and we’ll help update their information.
What if my guest has a dietary or accessiblity need?
Include the guest’s dietary need when registering. For accessibility needs, you or the guest can contact us at info@yfcmp.org or (412) 854-1110. YFCMP will confirm available accommodations with the hotel.
Can I invite people through social media?
Absolutely. You’re welcome to share the Good News Banquet with your social networks. For filling your table, though, we encourage you to pair general sharing with personal invitations to the people you’d especially like to have join you.
