Clarity A. is an eighth-grade student at Trinity Middle School in Washington. She first heard about Campus Life in sixth grade through friends who were already attending. Though her understanding of Jesus was incomplete, she was eager to learn more. At Campus Life, she found a space where her questions were heard and taken seriously.

At first, Clarity wasn’t connecting with the adult leaders. Then Milena joined the team. Milena’s warmth, enthusiasm, and genuine care won Clarity’s trust, and everything changed. She became more engaged, started opening up in conversations, and formed meaningful connections with those around her.

Last year, Clarity made the decision to be baptized as part of a special event where 14 other students also took this step of faith. Since then, her faith has deepened. “I now have a deeper understanding of God’s love for me and how He uses other people to communicate His message,” she shared.

This “deep understanding” isn’t just from us. Clarity reads her bible every day, which is evident in her spiritual maturity. She doesn’t just absorb the gospel—she shares it, and in a way that others understand. Her approach makes it accessible to those around her.

Clarity, once the “quiet girl,” is now the one engaging and has even asked to be a leader for middle school Campus Life when she enters her 9th grade year.

Not only have we been a gift in her life, but she has been a gift to our ministry, too!” said Stephen Thomas, Washington Ministry Director. The Washington leaders truly celebrate her! Stephen said, “We’re excited as we continue to witness the Spirit’s work in Clarity’s life!”
