“I would refuse to pray because I thought that stuff was stupid,” Dom said.

By the time he was in 8th grade, Dom’s faith was non-existent. His family identified as Christian, but they rarely went to church. Still, when a friend invited him to South Fayette Campus Life, he decided to go.

Despite choosing unbelief, Dom continued to regularly attend Campus Life. He went because he enjoyed being part of a community of kids with many different backgrounds. “I loved being there with kids from different sports teams, the band, and different academic levels,” said Dom.

After his freshman year in 2022, Dom joined us for Heatwave, our high school summer trip to Wildwood, New Jersey. On the trip, Dom made the decision to give his life to Jesus. The combination of prayer, worship, and conference breakout sessions helped Dom see the truth and make the decision to follow the Lord. He also credits having supportive and encouraging leaders and friends with him.

He spent his junior and senior years on the South Fayette Student Leadership team, growing his faith and inviting others to Campus Life to hear the Gospel, just like his friend did for him.

Dom graduated from South Fayette High School in June and is entering the workforce in the automotive industry.
