Fallout is our weekend retreat for high school students

Trip Details & Cost

 

Location & Lodging

Fallout is held in the Salt Fork State Park Lodge, located just outside of Cambridge Ohio.  During the weekend, we will be staying in the Lakeside cottages, which are equipped with a full kitchen & 3/4 bath with shower stall.  Limited bedding & bath linens are also provided.

Community

We strongly believe in the power of community, and the entire weekend is structured around building relationships and creating meaningful conversations with those you are staying with.  When you register, you will be given an opportunity to request specific roommates, and we will do everything to accommodate these.  But, as the great English philosopher Mick Jagger once quoted, "You can't always get what you want."

Transportation

If you are coming to Fallout with a Campus Life or City Life Club, transportation is provided.  An e-mail will be sent out two weeks prior to the trip with departure & return details.

Food

Registration for Fallout does not include food.  All the cabins are equipped with a large refrigerator with freezer, stove/oven, sink, ample countertop space, numerous cabinets, microwave, coffee maker, and automatic can opener.  One week prior to the trip, you will be contacted with your housing assignment & roomates, you'll then coordinate meals for the weekend with your leader and bring your food with you.

Cost

$140 on or before Nov. 8th / $155 after Nov. 8th includes housing and transportation (does not include food).  
All registrations require a non-refundable $50 deposit payable online with a credit card by clicking on "trip payments" or by sending a check payable to "YFC/Campus Life" within 7 days after registering.  Checks are to be mailed to Youth for Christ, 6314 Library Road, South Park, PA  15129.  Be sure to include a note with the student's name and Campus Life Club.
